Dr André Nilsen is researching political economy, corporate strategy, and economic policy, with a focus on corporate finance, M&A, corporate governance, industrial relations, skills, and innovation. In addition, he maintains an interest in EU foreign, security, defense, and space policy, global governance, and UN reform. Dr Nilsen has a DPhil in political economy and an MPhil in European politics, economics, and law from the University of Oxford, where he was the 2000 Norway Scholar, an Eckbo Scholar, and a member of Wadham College. He has a CandMag from the University of Oslo and has been a visiting student at the University of Washington, the University of Heidelberg, and Harvard University. Dr Nilsen is the founder of the Norway Model United Nations Society and the Oxford University Capitalism Society. He is a former member of the Executive Committee of the Oxford Society in Norway.
